Arhar Dal with Spinach
Instructions:
1. Cook the Dal:
In a pressure cooker, add the soaked arhar dal, chopped spinach, ginger-garlic paste, green chilli, turmeric powder, salt, and water.
Pressure cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes or until the dal is soft.
2. Make the Tempering:
In a small pan, heat ghee.
Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Stir in red chilli powder (if using), coriander powder, and garam masala. Sauté for a few seconds.
3. Combine:
Open the pressure cooker once the steam is released.
Add the prepared tempering to the cooked dal and mix well.
4. Serve:
Enjoy hot with steamed rice or chapati.
